T'n'T, better known as Tim Rogers and Tex Perkins came together, as most good ideas do, after a few drinks. Having lead their respective bands, You Am I and the Bests of Bourbon to pre-eminent status in Australian rock'n'roll the pairing came together rather succinctly. The initiative of thier manager turned drunken banter into reality. The bands fourth ever gig was in Kings Park backed by the WA Symphony Orchestra. After only a hand-full of shows together the band hit the studio and quickly recrded their debut album My Better Half at Yikesville studio with sometime Temperance Union member Shane O'Mara. T'n'T then toured Europe and the US, returning to Australia for a national tour coinciding with the release of the album in September 2006.
