Teen pop sensation The Veronicas, fronted by Queensland born twin sisters Lisa and Jessica Origliasso, have quickly become an instant success. These musically adept young ladies have rocked the local pop scene and earned a huge contingency of fans. In late 2005 and early 2006, their debut album, The Secret Life Of The Veronicas, dominated the Australian and New Zealand pop charts. The first single from the album, 4ever, went platinum and reached #1 in the Australian charts. Everything I'm Not, was the second single released from the album, had the same success with over 35 000 copies sold nationwide. Due to the popularity of The Veronicas tunes, the album subsequently went double platinum. The sisters moved to the US to pursue their burgeoning music career, and in 2005 landed an opportunity to be support for Ryan Cabrera, before headlining their own American tour promoting their album. In 2007, the girls released their sophomore album Hook Me Up and set out on their first major Australian headline tour.
