MGMT give the people what they want

Following the news that their Sydney and Melbourne shows sold out at lighting speed, MGMT have announced that they will now play bigger venues in each city. In Sydney, they will now play at the Hordern Pavilion, while Melbourne fans can see the group at Festival Hall. Ticket holders for the original venues (the Enmore Theatre and Palace Theatre respectively) are able to use the same ticket at the new venues. All tickets purchased for the Palace Theatre performance will be valid for general admission floor entry at Festival Hall. The Hordern Pavilion is all general admission. Extra tickets for both shows go on sale on September 5. MGMT's tour begins in Perth on December 6, although both that show and the Brisbane performance are sold out.
