Kylie Minogue
Kylie caught the public's eye with the role of Charlene on Neighbours, but it was her debut album Kylie in (1988) that launched her music career. In 1989, she released the follow-up album Enjoy Yourself and landed her first movie role in Delinquents. Two more albums soon followed: Rhythm of Love (1990) and Lets Get to it (1991)).
After a short hiatus, Kylie parted company with her producers and signed with the Deconstruction label. A change in her musical direction resulted in the notably darker and more dance-orientated Kylie Minogue (1994). Before releasing 1998's Impossible Princess, Kylie found time to star in the films Bio-Dome (1996), Sample People (1998) and Cut (1998).
In 2000 she moved back into the pop spectrum and released Light Years, featuring the single 'Kids', a collaboration with Robbie Williams. The follow-up album Fever (2001) featuring the hit singles 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' and Grammy Award-winning 'Come into My World' cemented her place as the princess of pop, selling more than six million copies worldwide.
By 2004, Kylie had launched her own lingerie range, Love Kylie and released two more albums Body Language (2003) and Ultimate Kylie (2004).
In May 2005, Kylie was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent surgery but by 2006 was in recovery and returned to the stage with her highly anticipated Showgirl Tour.
