Disco Mafia is made up of two of Australia's leading DJs: Miles Junior and Hess. Over the past few years Miles has been working his way up the ranks as one of Melbourne's favourite DJs, while Hess has been busy touring internationally, DJing, producing and running the label Bamboo Music. Disco Mafia kicked off their newly formed partnership in 2007 at the Winter Music Conference in Miami playing at the Bamboo Event alongside some of the top DJs in the world. The dynamic duo's productions, bootlegs and re-edits have been supported by some of the world's best DJs including; Jesse Garcia, DJ Noir, Vandalism, and Roger Sanchez. Disco Mafia's debut production was the remix of 'Hands Up' by Jesse Garcia. Released on Bamboo, the Disco Mafia remix of the track saw it hit number two on djdownload.com and included on the 2007 Housexy compilation for Ministry of Sound UK. More recently the pair have produced various tracks signed to the onelove label for Australia and remixes for labels including Eric Powell's (formerly Bush Records, UK) new label. With their many years of experience, Disco Mafia have a reputation as powerhouse producers and DJs. Their skills have already landed them a residency with the onelove group and they currently play at their club nights all over Australia. Disco Mafia are also partners in the new international record label, Safari Music. Launched in Miami 2007, it features releases from various Australian and international artists and is available on the top 100 digital download sites around the world. With only a small handful of launch titles so far, Safari has already signed tracks to Ministry of Sound (UK) and onelove (Australia).
